Dr Ali Hossaini works at the cutting edge of art, science and technology. Museums, theatres and galleries present his art worldwide, and the New York Times calls him ‘a biochemist turned philosopher turned television producer turned visual poet’.
A founder of National Gallery X, he is Professor of Digital Media & Culture at SOAS and a Senior Research Fellow in Engineering at King’s College London. Through his research, he is active in standards and policy development, including the IEEE European Public Policy Committee.
He is developing standards for culturally competent AI, which respects the beliefs of its users, and adaptive architecture, which enables neurodiverse populations to participate in mainstream environments.
